 Application
Fronius inverters work with a "master / slave" concept. This allows the "master" part of the inverter to switch on at low light times; as light levels increase the "slave" unit is activated. The inverter units exchange master / slave roles on alternate days: this has the effect of maximising efficiency and increasing lifetime.
Fronius IG access is an intelligent program for recording all your PV data. It is possible to manage and monitor up to 100 inverters in one system, and now real-time as well as archived PV data can be accessed worldwide via the bi-directional connection between Fronius Datalogger Web and the Fronius Solar.web online service.
Up to 8 weather sensors can be built into your Fronius DatCom system to create a personal weather station. All the data from Fronius DatComcan be exported into MS Excel for further processing.

Fronius have developed a new series of central inverters to keep up with the trend towards increasingly powerful systems: the Fronius IG 300, 400 and 500 models are suitable for systems starting with an AC output power of 24kW.
From 1 September 2009, in addition to the standard 5 year warranty, all inverters from the Fronius IG and Fronius IG Plus series now come with the option to purchase an extended warranty to 10, 15 or 20 years.
